Optoma partners with Supertron Electronics

 Optoma, announced a partnership with Supertron Electronics Pvt. Ltd. as its national distributor for Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) in India. This partnership will enable Optoma to expand its reach to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and provide better after-sales service to its customers.

Supertron will now also be our national distributor for our new range of IFPs. Optoma Unveils Laser Projectors

Optoma, today announced the launch of its eco-friendly laser projectors for the India market.  Optoma’s new range of projectors are ZX350e, ZW350e, ZH350, AZX360ST, AZW360ST & AZH360ST. The new range of projectors are more compact and can save nearly half the power consumption.

Price range starting from Rs. 72,000, these projectors will be available in the market from next month onward throughout the country. Optoma laser projectors have a longer lifespan. It is also maintenance free and complies with regulations for less hazardous materials. The laser projectors help save energy and extra cost, meanwhile avoiding mercury pollution.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Sharma, Country Head – India, Optoma Corporation, said, “We at Optoma are committed in upgrading and adopting new technology for a better user experience. With this commitment we have introduced the Next Generation of our projectors which will save upto 47% power consumption and help in reducing around 1265Kg CO2e during the life span of a projector. We have introduced our new Eco Friendly Laser projector series which is specially made for environment sustainability. We hope to transition the complete line up to laser projectors from traditional projectors in the coming year.

Optoma’s UHD50X is the world’s first 240Hz projector

Optoma just launched the UHD50X in India, making it the world’s first projector to offer a refresh rate of 240Hz. The projector ensures ultra-smooth motion and with 4K UHD support and HDR and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) support, users can get great picture quality. The UHD50X offers a bright light view at 3400 lumens with a 500,000:1 contrast ratio with true colour reproduction with the 8-segment (RGBWRGBW) colour wheel design.

The UHD50X also comes with HDMI 2.0, making it easy to connect with 4K devices such as Apple TV 4K, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X and easy installation with projection up to 300-inches.

Gamers can also get the most out of the UHD50X too. With a low 15.7ms lag in Enhanced Gaming Mode, the UHD50X ensures a good gaming performance that you wouldn’t get while gaming on a regular projector.

Optoma launches P1 4K laser projector in India

Infocomm India is just around the corner and Optoma has announced its new 4K laser cinema projector in India. First announced at CES 2019, the Optoma P1 ultra-short throw projector supports 4K UHD resolution, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistant support and an integrated NuForce soundbar with Dolby Digital 2.0 support.

This way, the projector not only takes care of visuals but audio as well. The Optoma P1 has a brightness of 3,000 lumens, HDR10 and SmartFIT auto geometry correction system for simple and hassle-free setup.
 
The integrated soundbar promises crystal-clear sound, balanced midrange and wide frequency response for optimised for home entertainment playback.

Optoma unveils two new 4K projectors

Optomo recently expanded their vast projector range with the addition of ProScene ZK1050 4K DLP Laser and P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser Ultra Short Throw. Both cater to different target segments and audiences.

Optoma P1 Smart 4K UHD Laser merges 4K UHD resolution with an ultra-short throw distance and laser light show making it stand out among its competitors. It can produce a 3,000 lumen bright and 8.3 million pixel filled image on screen that can project upto a 120 inch image. HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) compatibility further add to the colour performance showing bright whites and deep blacks. It has an integrated soundbar designed by NuForce said to deliver clear sound with balanced midrange and wide frequency response. They have been built with individual woofers and aluminum full range drivers with isolated speaker enclosures for low distortion. The integrated soundbar offers Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus audio decoding capabilities.

P1 supports the latest smart+ features like smart home compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant as well as IFTTT (If This Then That) platform for smart home automation with smart IoT devices. Through the Optoma Marketplace, users can easily access popular streaming services like NetFlix and YouTube. The Optoma Connect App can be used to check the Infowall as well as customise it to further integrate into a user’s home ecosystem. Auto geometry correction can be done with the SmartFIT app and FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air) technology handles updates.

The Optoma ProScene ZK1050 is a 4K UHD projector offering 10,000 lumens brightness and contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 with Extreme Black enabled. MultiColor Laser (MCL) technology with blue and red lasers help output a picture with richer colours and HDR10 supports a wide colour gamut. It packs built-in edge blending, vertical and horizontal lens shift, four corner and keystone correction along with motorized zoom as well as interchangeable lenses. It has an optical engine that is IPX6 certified to protect against heavy splashes and rain. Similar to P1, the ZK1050 also allows for FOTA software updates.
