Meizu recently unveiled the M3X and Pro 6 Plus at an event in China. Both the devices are targeting different segments with their price points.
The dual-SIM Meizu M3X runs on Flyme OS based on Android Marshmallow. The rear camera comes with dual tone LED flash, Phase Detection AutoFoucs (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. The front camera also has a f/2.0 aperture. Interestingly, the fingerprint sensor has been embedded into the home button instead of placing it at the rear. The company has stated that the battery can charge upto 40% in 30 minutes using a 18w fast charger.
The higher end Meizu Pro 6 Plus features a 3D Press display that is pressure sensitive and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. While the resolution of the cameras is the same as the M3X, the rear camera also supports dual-tone 10 LED ring flash, 4 axis Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Laser AutoFocus. The device also has a heart rate sensor and infrared sensor. Additionally, the battery can charge upto 60% in 30 minutes using a 24w fast charger.
Both devices are available for sale in China but no word yet on an Indian release date.
