MIRFAK Audio launches two new and budget-friendly microphones

With over 40 years of invaluable experience behind them, the members of Mirfak Audio, Gudsen – who also make gimbals under the brand name of ‘Moza’ – have launched two new portable, intuitive, and user-adjustable microphone solutions; namely, the MCI: Lavalier microphone and the N2: On-camera microphone.

The MC1: Lavaler Microphone operates through the owner’s vision of ‘One Mic Fits All’. This wired microphone, which has a cable length of 6 meters, is compatible with today’s smartphones (besides the latest iPhones that are not equipped with the traditionally-used audio jack), DSLRs, camcorders, PCs and even audio recorders. On the stem of the cable is an switch which allows users to switch easily from the DSLR recording mode to smartphone recording more (or vice-versa).

The ease of use of the MC1 is impressive and the microphone comes with a gold-plated, wear-resistant, and anti-oxidant plug that provides maintain better signal transmission. The MC1 offers a recording frequency range of 20-16,000Hz, a signal-to-noise-ratio of 74dBSPL, and a sensitivity of -30db +/- 3db. The MC1 is a great option for journalists, vloggers, interviews, people dabbling with online teaching, and much more. The MC1’s 360-degree condenser microphone strives to offer good sound quality through highly-sensitive recording and intelligent noise reduction.

The N2 on-camera microphone, on the other hand, uses a cardioid sound pick up pattern and a sensitive condenser which empowers the N2 to capture detailed audio, including the finest details of the target voice.

The N2 can be mounted on the hot shoe of the DSLR and once plugged in the appropriate port, It ca be used instantly. The N2 is made of high-grade aluminum, with a ‘super anti-interface’ ability which helps reduce unwanted vibrations. The N2, also, has a 3.5mm jack port and it comes with a ton of attachments and accessories like a shock mount, sponge windshield, furry windshield, TRRS and TRS cables – which enables ithe N2 to be connected to mobile phones and DSLRs rather easily.

The N2 offers a sensitivity of -44db +/- 1db and a recording frequency range of 35-16,000Hz.

Both of these new Mirfak microphones are available and are definitely a must-have for those looking for budget-friendly solutions offering flexibility.
