OnePlus Unveils OnePlus 15R

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 15R, its ultimate value flagship device, which is now on sale across India, Europe and North America. The device, the second in the OnePlus 15 Series, is the first phone launching globally to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, co-defined by OnePlus, and gives users a combination of stellar performance, unbeatable battery life and fast and smooth software starting from Rs 44,999*.

Breakneck speed, breakout battery and breakthrough cooling

OnePlus 15R’s amazing performance begins with its chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform, co-defined and co-optimised over 24 months by Qualcomm and OnePlus. OnePlus 15R is the first device launching globally to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and sees 36% faster CPU speeds, 11% faster GPU speeds and 46% better AI performance than the previous generation chipset. Alongside the new chipset, OnePlus 15R also features LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 ROM for blistering fast speeds when creating, copying or moving data.

OnePlus 15R also leads the way with its battery, the largest ever shipped in a OnePlus flagship device. The 7,400 mAh battery inside OnePlus 15R, equipped with OnePlus’s 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology, is built to run in the harshest environments on Earth and still keep running with at least 80% capacity after four years.

Keeping all of this power in check is a 360-degree Cryo Velocity Cooling System, covering every area of OnePlus 15R from front to back. This starts with the Cryo Velocity Screen Cooler, just under the display, which uses aerogel – the lightest solid on earth – to give OnePlus 15R’s display excellent thermal protection from heat generated inside the phone.

Next comes the Cryo Velocity 3D Vapor Chamber. built with a proprietary design specifically created to cool high end processors, measuring 5,704mm². This features a range of materials, including hand-tearable steel in an industry first, to dissipate huge levels of heat. A stunning display, stellar design and super strong durability ratings

At the front of OnePlus 15R is the highest refresh rate screen ever shipped by OnePlus – a 165Hz LTPS 1.5K AMOLED display. Measuring 6.83 inches and featuring 450 pixels per inch, it can go as high as 1800 nits of brightness and as low as 1 nit with Reduce White Point activated. In OnePlus 15R it’s paired with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, for rapid unlocking, and a dedicated Touch Response Chip to ensure OnePlus’s highest refresh rate screen is also its most sensitive, featuring an industry-leading instant touch sampling rate of 3200Hz for super smooth scrolling.

Surrounding the display is a design built to provide superior in-hand comfort, whether you’re holding OnePlus 15R horizontally or vertically. Irresistible imaging

As well as providing powerful performance, OnePlus 15R features strong photography skills too. This starts with a 32 megapixel selfie camera with autofocus and a 50 megapixel main camera, the same IMX906 sensor found on OnePlus 15, and an 8 megapixel ultra wide sensor with a 112 degrees field of view.

This hardware is combined with powerful software, including the new OnePlus DetailMax Engine found in OnePlus 15, to create incredible results.
