Last month we had put LIKE, a video platform app owned by Singapore headquartered BIGO Technology PTE Ltd under the spotlight. This month they have added a new photo editing feature called Superme to offer their user base a better video creation experience.
Superme brings in game engine technology to realise real-time interactive image application processing that allows for interesting options to combine photo editing with video creation. Thus users are able to easily transfer a 2D image to a 3D video with just a single tap of the finger. Superme includes four series namely Love, Creative, Cool and Funny that collectively contain over 80 effect options.
Further, the #LIKESuperme challenge has been ideated to encourage more usage of the feature. Within just a day of it being launched online over 80,000 users have created videos garnering over 50 million views. Currently the app is available in 15 regional languages that have further helped in its growing popularity in India.
