The OnePlus Nord 3R TWS – a surprisingly complete package and bang for its buck!
In a relatively crowded budget TWS space, the Oneplus Nord 3r packs quite a punch. It has near-perfect sound quality and a strong bass response, this makes listening to music a genuinely enjoyable experience while handling vocals and instrumental clarity with ease. The clarity of dialogue and voice detail makes them equally suitable for movie watching. For me, this means that this TWS is perfect for your casual earbud user and is basically, exactly what most people are looking for, especially in its price range.
Battery life is exceptional, you need not keep recharging the buds, one full charge and you’re good to go for a few days. Couple that with excellent comfort, lightweight form factor, and strong build quality, and these could quickly become your ideal companion for long use.
Functionally, they work smoothly with the HeyMelody app, offering flexibility in customizing touch controls to your preference, which adds a big layer of usability. The microphone performs without frills and gives you a stable, no-nonsense experience for audio calls with no noticeable hiccups.
Altogether, the OnePlus Nord 3R positions itself as the perfect daily driver.
But, while almost flawless, there are still two misses worth noting. The first being the lack of ANC, something that immediate competitors have started bundling at this very price point, giving them an edge if noise cancellation matters strongly to you, as it does to me. The second is the inability to tweak the native equalisation within the HeyMelody app—while the default tuning is very good, having that option for deeper personalization would have made these earbuds shine even brighter.
