Panasonic launches Google Tvs

Panasonic Life launches its new range of Google TVs. The company plans to introduce a total of 23 new models of television powered by the Google TV platform. The latest range of Google TVs, featuring 4K HDR and Smart capabilities are designed to provide an immersive and unparalleled viewing experience to consumers. Panasonic’s new range of TVs are available in different display size options (including 32’, 43’, 55’, 65’, and 75’ inches) and ranges between INR 19,990 to INR 3,19,990. These will be available at Panasonic stores, dealer networks and key e-commerce platforms.

Commenting during the launch, Fumiyasu Fujimori, Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing India, Panasonic Life Solutions India, said, “As a leading consumer technology company, we are excited to introduce our new range of Google TVs to the Indian market. Our TVs are designed to deliver exceptional picture quality and immersive sound, providing customers with an unparalleled viewing experience. The addition of Google TV to our robust TV portfolio reinforces our commitment to providing the latest technology, and innovation to the customers.”

Fujimori san added, “With an intuitive interface, preference prompts, one can control their TV and search for content using voice commands with Google Assistant. The platform also allows users to customize their home screen with their favourite OTT apps and channels and make their own watchlist, enabling them to add shows and movies from their TV, mobile app or Google Web by simply clicking the watchlist icon. Moreover, the platform offers an easy-to-browse streaming experience across all apps, displaying everything the user stream on one screen. In addition, the TVs come with built-in Chromecast, allowing users to cast content from their phone or tablet directly to their TV.”

Panasonic’s Google TV series is designed to provide customers with the ultimate entertainment experience by enhancing the four key elements of television – Display, Sound, Connectivity, and Design.

Samsonite and Panasonic present a smart, connected suitcase

Samsonite and Panasonic have partnered up to create a smart travel suitcase for the 24×7 connected traveller. Samsonite’s EVOA Tech suitcase has been equipped with Panasonic’s Seekit Bluetooth Tracker for keeping track of the luggage.

Based on Bluetooth v5.0 technology, the tracker comes with upto 14 functions. These include the Separation Indicator that keeps users informed if their luggage is around and are immediately notified if it gets separated. Next, Bi-directional Tracking helps consumers find their smartphone if the tracker button is pushed two times. Pressing it thrice sends an SOS alert to upto 3 contacts with their GPS location. The Seekit device also comes with a Selfie button for letting users click their selfies. With Proximity Guidance, users are guided towards their baggage while Find your Luggage helps identify their Samsonite luggage by tapping the buzz button on the app. In-app language support is available in Japanese, Korean, Chinese and English.

The EVOA Tech suitcase boasts of a 3-in-1 Smart Lock coming with a TSA-approved fingerprint lock that can record 10 fingerprints at a time, a 3-digit dial lock and USB port. Integrated into the side handle is a weighing scale that shows the weight in kilograms and a button on the side reverses the display direction so it can be read in any orientation. Devices like smartphones can be charged by plugging into the USB port. Further, an anti-theft zipper and aero track suspension wheels have been implemented.

Pricing has yet to be announced but the product will be launched in a phased manner in 18 countries including India.

Keep a check on your valuables with Panasonic Seekit tracker

Panasonic has been on a roll lately launching numerous products across their portfolio and the Seekit tracker range is the latest gadget from them. It has been developed in India and the country will be the first to gain access to it.

Coming in two variants – Seekit Edge and Seekit Loop, they have Bluetooth-enabled tracking hardware having been built to let users to keep a check on their valuables like keys, laptop, smartphone, wallet, luggage etc. Both come with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity, IP65 water resistant rating, CR2016 button cell and an embedded speaker that produces upto 80dB of sound. The key difference is that Edge has a battery life of 18 months and is designed for things such as laptops, wallets etc while the Loop stays active for 12 months having been built mainly for keychains.

The app can be downloaded on Android devices with plans underway for the app to be available on iOS. It allows users to select notification alerts from various levels such as DND, Low, High and Pickpocket. The alert tones can also be customised having the ability to use their own recorded voice. Seekit rights can also be shared with others as well to help them find their own items. SOS alert quickly sends an emergency ping to a programmed contact by pressing the physical button thrice. Pressing it once allows makes it click a selfie.

The Seekit Edge is priced at Rs.1,599 and the Seekit Loop costs Rs.1,299. Both will be sold across all major retailers from 1 December.

Panasonic A3 and A3 Pro revealed with sale date

Panasonic today announced the launch of the Eluga A3 and the A3 Pro at an event in New Delhi today. The two devices are just the tip of the iceberg as the company has committed to releasing around 11 smartphones within the next 2 months.

Both the A3 models feature a 5.2″ HD IPS display, 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor on the front, 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), 8MP front camera, 4000mAh battery and Android Nougat OS with ARBO AI assistant. The key differences are that the A3 is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and comes with 16GB internal storage while the A3 Pro uses a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 32GB internal storage. The storage is expandable upto 128GB via microSD. Coming to physical specifications, the A3 and A3 Pro weigh 161 grams and measure 148×72.4×9.1mm.

Available across all Panasonic outlets and offline stores across the country from August 10, Eluga A3 is priced at Rs.11,290 and A3 Pro costs Rs.12,790.

Panasonic launches Eluga I3 Mega with 4000mAh battery

Panasonic India today unveiled the latest addition to the Eluga series with the I3 Mega. The dual-SIM 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone is highlighting its 4000mAh battery as the main selling point.

The 5.5″ HD IPS display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the full metal body packs in a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with 3GB RAM. There is 16GB storage available which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD. A 13MP Autofocus camera is present on the rear with 1.12micron pixel size and 80 degree wide angle FoV while a 5MP camera is situated on the front.

The device has measurements of 154.6x77x9.4mm and weighs 180g. It is available in 2 colour variants – Champagne Gold (seen above) and Silver (located below). The box bundle includes the Main Device(inclusive of Battery), Charger, USB Cable, Protective Screen Guard, Quick Start Guide, Earphones, Warranty Card and SIM Insert Pin.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India said “The full-metal body Eluga I3 Mega is designed to stand out in the crowd and is targeted towards the youth who like to keep it stylish. Priced at Rs.11,490, the Eluga I3 Mega will be sold across the country via authorised Panasonic retailers.
