Asus Expands Zephyrus Series

Asus has announced the latest addition to its Zephyrus series with the launch of Zephyrus M16 2022 model.

Commenting on the new launch, Arnold Su, Business Head, Consumer and Gaming PC, System Business Group, Asus India, stated,“With every ROG launch we inch a step toward revolutionising the gaming segment. The device is powered by up to the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H CPU along with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti graphics. It has support for up to 48GB of dual-channel DDR5 4800MHz memory. It comes with the MUX switch that enables users to switch between GPUs to maximise performance or battery life. It has a sleek design, which fits a 16-inch display in an ultra slim 15-inch chassis with a 94% screen-to-body ratio and QHD 165Hz/3ms display. It boasts of high framerate gameplay, offering a 165Hz refresh rate. The display is certified as a ROG Nebula Display with full-spectrum colour accuracy and 100% DCI-P3, 500 nits of brightness, 3ms response time along with support for Dolby Vision.

The device has a 90Wh battery that provides up to 10 hours of battery life and comes with Thunderbolt 4 that enables users to connect their peripherals with Type-C Power Delivery 3.2 Gen 2, with the option to charge from portable power packs. It features ROG’s ‘Intelligent Cooling’, including a liquid metal compound that, reportedly, cools the CPU, while the Arc Flow fans maximise the airflow with minimal noise. Other features include a multi-faceted audio system that boasts balanced acoustics and two-way AI noise cancellation for audio clarity.

Asus Unveils ZenBook 14 Flip OLED Laptop

Asus has announced the 14-inch 2.8K OLED HDR display convertible laptop, Zenbook 14 Flip OLED, the latest addition to its ZenBook series.

Commenting on the launch, Arnold Su, Business Head, Consumer, and Gaming PC, System Business Group, Asus India, said, “We are elated to bring world’s first 14″ 2.8K OLED HDR display in an ultra-versatile and convertible laptop for our consumers. The device features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED HDR 16:10 display with a 4-sided NanoEdge design with slim 2.9 mm side bezels and provides an 88% screen to body ratio. Its 360° ErgoLift hinge design allows the display to be flipped to any position. The display supports 2880 x 1800 resolution, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2 ms response time, along with smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor.

Its full-sized backlit keyboard achieves a 19.05 mm pitch and the audio system has been certified by audio specialist Harman Kardon. It features Asus AI Noise-Cancelling Audio and is equipped with a 63 Whr battery and 100W Type-C fast-charger. The product pricing starts from INR 91,990 and is now available for purchase across online (Asus e-shop/ Amazon/ Flipkart) and offline platforms.

MSI Expands Business and Productivity Laptop Series

MSI has announced new Business and Productivity laptops for the Summit, Prestige, and Modern Series with 12th Gen Intel Core Processor.

Summit Series:

Aside from the existing Summit E13 Flip Evo and Summit E16 Flip, the new Summit E14 Flip Evo is joining the Summit series more sizing options for different user needs. The Summit E16 Flip is powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics to further boost its performance. Its display comes protected by Tobii Aware, that automatically locks the laptop when the user is not nearby or blurs the screen.

The device implements enterprise-grade securities such as webcam and port locks, discrete TPM support, fingerprint or IR webcam, and webcam status notification. It also comes integrated with Tile finding technology (Tile app) that can be used to activate and locate Summit laptops nearby or far away.

The E14 Flip Evo comes with a 14-inch QHD+ (2880×1800), 16:10, touchscreen display, LPDDR5 onboard, 16GB memory, connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6E AX1675 and Bluetooth v5.2, white backlit keyboard, 2x 2W Speaker, Hi-Res audio ready with DTS audio processing, 65W USB-C PD charging with fast charging function, measures 314 mm (W) x 227.5 mm (D) x 17.9 mm (H) and weighs 1.6 kg.

Prestige Series

Both the Prestige 15 and Prestige 14 boast a thin and light chassis design for portability with better thermals. It also boasts lossless music with Hi-Res Audio combined with DTS Audio Processing. Users can choose between an NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics or Intel Evo platform based on preference. The devices come with True Pixel technology, additional security with face or fingerprint sign-in, ‘long’ battery life and fast charging. The Prestige 15 comes with a 15.6-inch UHD (3840 x 2160), 100% AdobeRGB (Typical) or sRGB display, LPDDR4x onboard, 32GB memory, connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth v5.2, white backlit keyboard, 2x 2W Speaker, Hi-Res Audio Ready with DTS Audio Processing, 100W USB-C PD charging with fast charging function, measures 356.8 mm (W) x 233.7 mm (D) x 18.9 mm (H) and weighs 1.69 kg.

Modern Series For the Modern Series, MSI teamed up with French illustrator, Lorraine Sorlet to tell four stories through visuals inspired by love, work, and travel. The devices in the series sport a new chassis design to showcase the “Modern” look. The devices also feature a thin bezel, a 180° flip screen, an enlarged touchpad and a full-size keyboard. The Modern 15 comes with a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display, DDR4-3200 onboard, up to 16GB memory, connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth v5.2, white backlit keyboard, 2x 2W Speaker, Hi-Res Audio Ready, 65W adaptor that supports fast charging, measures 359 mm (W) x 241 mm (D) x 19.9 mm (H) and weighs 1.7 kg.

Realme Unveils Budget-friendly Smartphone

Realme has introduced a new addition to its entry-level C series family with the realme C35, an entry-level smartphone.

Commenting on the launch, Madhav Sheth, CEO Realme India, VP, Realme, and President, Realme International Business Group said, “We are thrilled to unveil the newest member of our C series smartphones as we continue our quest to become the world’s most popular smartphone brand. The device is equipped with a 50MP AI Triple Camera and includes a primary camera with a 50MP image sensor with a wide area and an f/1.8 large aperture, a Macro Lens, a B&W lens and an 8MP Selfie camera with Sony Sensor. It features a new right-angle bezel design that is 8.1 mm thick and weighs 189 g. The smartphone is equipped with Unisoc T616 powerful processor, scoring 230,726 on AnTuTu benchmarks. It is an octa-core 12nm processor that clocks up to 2.0 GHz and adopts Cortex A75 structure. It also comes with a First FHD 6.6-inches screen in the Realme C series, 5000 mAh battery which can be charged with an 18W Type-C Quick Charge that comes in the box. It also comes with an instant fingerprint sensor and TÜV Rheinland High-Reliability Certification. According to the company, this is the first smartphone in the C series to include Dynamic RAM Expansion(DRE) technology.

The smartphone will be available in two storage variants, 4GB+64GB priced at INR 11,999 and 4GB+128GB priced at INR 12,999 and will be available in two colours, i.e. Glowing Black and Glowing Green. It is expected to go on sale starting March 12, on realme.com, Flipkart.com and mainline channels.

Alogic Launches Compact 32W GaN Charger

Alogic has introduced its 32W GaN wall charger in India. The WCG2X32-IND is a Dual Port GaN (Gallium Nitride) powered wall charger for daily use. This wall charger comes with a 30W Power Delivery functionality that charges your MacBook Air (and other devices with 30W power input).
