Xiaomi’s 55-inch QLED 4K TV is designed for modern living spaces

Adding to their smart TV portfolio, Xiaomi is launching the 55” QLED 4K TV on December 21st, with a classy design and a host of flagship smart TV features which certainly, are all combined at a very decent price.

The Mi QLED 4K smart TV is cased in an aluminium frame and it comes with the well-known HDR support like Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma and also the likes of Dolby Audio, and DTS-HD. The premium design boasts of a bezel-less horizon display with a 96% screen-to-body ratio.

The Mi QLED TV’s 4K panel offers a 100% NTSC wider colour spectrum which is further bolstered by Mi’s Vivid Picture Engine, which delivers a much more immersive viewing experience with better textures and details. In addition to all the superior functions the Mi QLED 4K TV supports (as mentioned above) the Mi QLED TV also comes with the ‘Reality Flow’ feature, which delivers smother and blur-free visuals.

With 4 full-range drivers and 2 tweeters, the Mi QLED Smart TV is also Mi’s first 6-speaker set up. It’s frequency range can go as low as 60Hz and all the way up to 20KHz whilst delivering a total power of 30W. The smart TV hosts a total of 1L speaker volume, thus delivering richer audio quality.

The Mi QLED 4K Smart TV runs on the latest version on PatchWall which contains over 25 content partners and its interface has a bunch of features like User Center, Kids Mode, Smart Recommendations, Universal Search, and more. Built on Android 10 and also consists of Chromecast and Google Assistant.

Connectivity-wise, the Mi QLED TV comes with 3 next-gen HDMI 2.1 ports – which supports new-gen consoles like the Xbox Series X and Sony PS5, 2 USB ports, ethernet port, optical port, and a 3.5mm jack port. The QLED TV features a ‘Auto Low Latency Mode’ (ALLM) which ‘automatically switches the TV to game mode and has an extremely low input lag of just 5ms at 4K @60fps’. The TV also features e-ARC that amplifies the bandwidth and audio speed.

The Mi QLED 4K Smart TV is powered by the MTK 64-bit A55 quad-core processor and a Mali G52 graphics.

The Mi QLED 4K TV is priced at Rs. 54,999 and will be available on mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart, and retail stores like Vijay Sales.

Xiaomi Mi TV Stick with built-in Chromecast launches tomorrow

With their range of affordable and feature-rich products spread across different categories such as smartphones, televisions, and laptops, Xiaomi has now launched the Mi TV Stick at an affordable price of Rs. 2,790. This lightweight TV stick does pack in some interesting features which would make streaming easier for users with non-smart TV sets.

The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick runs on Android TV 9.0 and it supports Full HD resolution. Since the Mi TV stick runs official Android OS, it gives access to over 5000+ apps and games on Google Play Store including well-known platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Hungama Play, Zee5, Aha Entertainment, and more.

Additionally, the Mi TV Stick also comes with a Bluetooth remote with dedicated hotkeys for Netflix and Prime Video. Chromecast is integrated within the Mi TV Stick so that users can cast content from different devices such as phones, laptops, or tablets.

The Mi TV Stick is powered by a quad-core Cortex A53 processor and a 1GB RAM and possesses 8GB of storage. To adapt to the growing consumption of online content, the Mi TV Stick is also equipped with Google’s Data Server which allows upto three times more content streaming.

The Mi TV Stick weighs just 28.5g and is equipped with Bluetooth v4.2, an HDMI port and a USB port. It alo upports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi signals. It supports a resolution of 1920×1080 at 60fps, Dolby Audio and DTS Digital.

The Mi TV Stick is available at an affordable price of Rs. 2,790 and it goes on sale on August 7 at 12 p.m. on Mi Homes, Mi.com, and Flipkart.
