Google’s Nik collection is now free for desktop users

March 29, 2016 by Ankush Mahajan

Google has made the complete Nik collection of photo-editing software free from 24 March 2016. The collection includes Analog Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Viveza, HDR Efex Pro, Sharpener Pro and Dfine. The software is available on Windows and Mac devices.

The software allows users to improve colour correction, retouch images, add creative effects, shaorpen images, and make adjustments to the colour and tonality of images.

Users who purchased the Nik collection in 2016, which was available for $149 earlier, will receive a full refund that will be issued automatically.
