Samsung Launch Odyssey OLED G8, Odyssey G7 and G7 Neo Gaming monitors

Samsung, has launched the latest range of Odyssey Gaming monitors for Indian consumers. The Odyssey OLED G8, Odyssey G7, and G7 Neo are the latest addition to the Odyssey Gaming Monitor series with advanced features such as Neo Quantum processor, HDR true black 400, Smart entertainment, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The monitors are engineered and designed to offer faster refresh rates, better gaming, and viewing experience, enhanced audio system, and higher pixel density, packed in a premium slim metal design. The latest line-up of the Odyssey monitors are perfect for gamers because they come with a fast response time and a superior picture quality, making their gaming experience more immersive.

The new range of gaming monitors offer a next-level gaming experience as well as entertainment on the same screen with its Smart Entertainment feature. With the inbuilt entertainment hub feature, consumers can convert the gaming monitor into a smart TV with just a click.

It comes with a 21:9 Ultra WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution giving gamers an immersive experience of gaming by enhancing the picture quality

Odyssey Neo G7 supports up to 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GTG) response time allowing a swift, smooth response and enabling precise mouse movements. The matte display of the Odyssey Neo G7 makes the screen anti-glare and anti-reflection.The Odyssey Neo G7 keeps extremely smooth and fast action gameplay and reduces stuttering, input latency, and screen tearing through AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support.

Odyssey G7 equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3840×2160 high resolution offers four times more pixel density than FHD. Odyssey OLED G8 monitor comes in Silver colour in India at a price of INR 175,000. Odyssey Neo G7 will be available in White colour for 43” and Black colour for 32” at INR 100,000 and INR 130,000, respectively. Odyssey G7 in Black colour will be available at price of INR 75,000.

Asus ROG Announces Strix XG16 Portable Gaming Monitor

Asus ROG has announced Strix XG16, a portable 15.6‑inch FHD (1920 x 1080) gaming monitor with a 144 Hz IPS panel and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.

It has a 15.6‑inch FHD IPS panel and delivers 144 Hz refresh rate while the G-SYNC compatibility eliminates screen tearing. It is reported to be the first ROG portable gaming monitor by Asus to be offered with an entirely white finish. The monitor is also available with a classic black finish. The monitor has a built-in 7800 mAh battery that provides up to three hours of viewing at 144 Hz, and a quick-charge function enables up to two hours of use after just an hour of charging.

A fold-out kickstand props the Strix XG16 up to one of several viewing positions in both landscape and portrait orientation. The monitor includes a tripod socket that’s compatible with standard tripods, allowing the monitor to be used as a secondary screen for a laptop or a larger screen for mobile devices. The Strix XG16AHP models additionally include a bundled ROG tripod.

A micro HDMI and two USB-C ports provide versatile connectivity with a wide variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, game consoles, cameras and more. When hooked up to a laptop or PC, the USB-C connection delivers both signal output and power to the monitor. It can also be charged via the bundled USB-C cable and adapter.

The Asus ROG Strix XG16 will be available, starting with the XG16AHP-W from July at an MRP of INR 60,999.

ViewSonic Monitors expands their footprints through a strategic alliance with Croma Stores

ViewSonic have recently announced that they will launch their monitor segment in all TATA Croma stores in the country. Croma is one of India’s first and leading omnichannel electronics retailer and is well-known in the general public. ASUS ROG releases a brand new 360Hz monitor under its Swift series

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) have announced that their all-new ROG Swift 360Hz monitor, the PG259QNR has also been chosen as the official gaming monitor for the DOTA 2 The International 10 tournament where the world’s best teams will gather in Bucharest, Romania and battle it out until mid-October to win the first-place prize purse of $15 million. ViewSonic continues to build its LCD portfolio through a partnership with Ingram Micro
