The Wave S fitness band builds on its predecessor, the Wave, which is developed by Riversong – a subsidiary of IMG – and offers several features at a competitive price. In a saturated market, the Wave S is likely to face the likes of Mi’s Fitness Band 4 and other contemporaries.
The Wave S is equipped with a 0.96” TFT colour screen which is protected with a 2.5D tempered glass. With aiding the user’s health and wellness being its prime function, the Wave S is IP67 rated, which means it is water and sweat resistant enabling users to wear it throughout strenuous workouts, the data of which is captured through the ‘Multisports’ mode of the fitness band.
The Wave S also features a dynamic heart-rate monitor, which provides users with real-time analysis of their activity levels as well. Despite being away from their smartphones, the Wave S also helps users to remain connected by providing notifications of incoming calls, emails, and messages.
Compatible with iOS and Android, the Wave S also features a host of different features like Sleep Monitor, ‘Find Phone’, stopwatch, camera shutter control, alarm notifications, and more. The Wave S has customisable watch faces and a 90mAh battery.
