Hitman GO getting a PC and console release

February 16, 2016 by Ankush Mahajan

The successful turn based strategy and puzzle hybrid is getting ported to PC and consoles with a few changes. The game uses Unity 5 for Playstation platform compatibility instead of the older Unity 4 used to develop the mobile version.

The Definitive Edition includes updated higher resolution graphics, all the extra content and allows players to control the camera thus providing various angles and perspectives to each level. The Paris Opera from Hitman: Blood money and the St. Petersburg Stakeout mission from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin are included as bonus missions.

Hitman GO: Definitive Edition launches on February 23 for PC (on steam), PS4 and PSVita. The game is cross-play enabled so buying on either Sony console will net you a free copy on the other. It is possible that successful sales might lead to ports of Hitman: Sniper and Lara Croft GO.
