With support for real time camera focusing, the gimbal uses brushless motor technology to help capture precise and swift movements. Gyro driving technology and 3 axes i.e. roll, pitch and plan help with steady, coordinated video shoots. There are 4 modes which the device can operate in namely full-following, pan-following, full-locking and roll-following. With uninterrupted switching the Gimbal’s effect can be highly customised. This will enable users to shoot in a variety of ways including but certainly not limited to 360 degree time lapse, scene tracking and object rotating type of videos.
When the D3 Gimbal is paired with Canon EOS and Sony SLR cameras, users can leverage a wide range of camera settings. The portable AFI Phoenix D3 Gimbal has been made using high quality aluminium having a maximum weight capacity of 3.2kgs with a built-in mini tripod design.
