Global networking equipment maker TP-Link has again been ranked as the number 1 global provider of WLAN devices for 29 consecutive quarters according to the IDC Quarterly Wireless LAN Tracker, Q4 2017. It revealed that the company made 18.04 million WLAN product shipments in Q4 2017 and amassed a global market share of 42% which is 35.53% ahead of its nearest competitor.
Over the course of 2017, TP-Link has sold a grand total of 78.46 million WLAN products with the market share for the entire year amounting to 44.08% and an annual revenue of $1.07 billion. Founded in 1996, the company has been in existence for over 2 decades as a global provider of networking devices and accessories supplying distribution to more than 170 countries.
