Priyanka Telecom, manufacturer of CENTRiC smartphones has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh recently. This will help initiate the plan of setting up a Research & Development manufacturing unit for Mobile Phones in Uttar Pradesh.
The company has plans to invest 648 crores in setting up the R&D unit along with a state of the art Complete Knock Down (CKD) manufacturing facility setup in the state. This will help both CENTRiC & FRND and other mobile phone manufacturers globally.

We, as a company, strongly believe in the ‘Make in India’ vision laid by our Honourable Prime Minister and thus, to further strengthen our stance, we have planned to set up the R&D and Manufacturing unit for India’s very own mobile phone brand – CENTRiC Smartphones” commented Mr Manish Agarwal, Founder, Priyanka Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd. (CENTRiC Smartphones) ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Investor summit.
The Uttar Pradesh Investors’ Summit concluded on 22nd February 2018 in Lucknow last week. The proposed plan by Priyanka Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd is expected to generate employment employment for over 1,500 people at various levels as well as indirect jobs in and around the state.
