ViewSonic India appoints Mr. Muneer Ahmad as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing

ViewSonic, one of the leading global providers of visual solutions ranging from projectors to monitors, have appointed Mr. Muneer Ahmad as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Audio-Visual and EdTech solutions in India.

This comes after Ahmad has spent over 4 years at ViewSonic, where, under his guidance and supervision, ViewSonic rose to be ranked first as an IFP brand since 2020, and is one of the top 3 projector brands in India. He also played a crucial role in streamlining the business growth of ViewSonic in India. ViewSonic’s expansion in the Indian market was a direct result of achieving growth in sales, development of newer and innovative technology, and meeting the demands of end-consumers.

More importantly, Ahmad significantly contributed in the edtech sphere, where under his guidance, ViewSonic adopted the display learning method which emphasised the personal teaching-learning experience. The myViewBoard visual learning platform has over 3 million subscribers globally, and is widely-appreciated. ViewSonic has had an impact in over 1000 classrooms in India.

Ahmad’s role in ViewSonic India will be to strategize marketing plans which are in sync with the company’s goals and objectives which will further enhance sales, growth and customer satisfaction. His role will also include customer management, business and market development, customer management, management of market research, strategic direction for promotions and advertising.

ViewSonic adds a new series of Wireless Presentation Displays (WPDs) to its portfolio

ViewSonic has pushed limits over the past year in order to provide solutions that made certain aspects of life easier and enjoyable at a time when staying home was the norm. Now, ViewSonic have launched their latest series of Wireless Presentation Displays which come in a sleek design comprising a slim bezel. Many powerful and utilitarian features have been integrated into one single device through ViewSonic’s new CDE20 series of wireless presentation displays (WPDs) which are available in five sizes: 43”, 55”, 65”, 75”, and 86”.

WPDs are great tools in spaces where collaboration, accessibility, and sharing is key – such as a working environment/office space. These WPDs offer a 4K UHD resolution and their design deliver broader viewing angles. The CDE20 WPDs consist of a 3GB RAM and run on Android OS. Along with a 16GB internal storage, the WPDs are compatible with Intel’s Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) which allows cable-free integration and seamless viewing. Additionally, these WPDs can also be linked to external media players and also have an USB Plug and Play with built in apps.

The CDE20 series is also armed with myViewBoard Display, through which ‘the participants can/will mirror their desktop to their wireless display presentation by accessing a browser and syncing to the display’s ID and one-time password’. It’s integrated ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) setting enables participants to share easily. The myViewBoard Manager empowers administrative fundtions like managing several displays at the same or different locations, and whether to turn those ViewSonic displays on or off, or restart them, change their speed, etc.

The CDE20 WPDs are also equipped with features like ViewSonic Cast and ViewSonic Embedded Signage Platform. The former allows content from mobile devices to be streamed on the WPD through wireless or wired means, and allows multiple users to annotate content on their respective devices. The latter is an all-in-one system based on the Linux Kernel OS which provides enhanced capabilities, multiple web formats, and stronger security measures.

ViewSonic launches the new ViewBoard 50-3 to promote hybrid learning solutions

As an upgrade to relatively-new ViewBoard 50-2, ViewSonic has come out with an all-new ViewBoard 50-3 which has the ‘most intuitive interactive interface’ and takes the experience of hybrid learning to the next level, keeping in mind the extraordinary situations schools and students find themselves in today.

The ViewBoard 50-3 features an advanced user interface and processor as compared to its predecessor, and it is made for teachers and students to have hassle-free experiences. This new ViewBoard runs on the superior Android 8.0 OS and consists of a 3GB RAM and a storage of 32GB. Additionally, the ViewBoard 50-3 also comes with its screen being low blue light certified by TUV Lab, which helps to prevent the eyes from getting strained, when the device is used for longer hours.

The ViewBoard 50-3 picks up on its predecessor and creates a much more seamless experience for teachers and students. The screen enables teachers to write seamlessly and the ViewBoard 50-3 is also equipped with dual-pen of differing diameters (8mm and 3mm) and offering various colours and thickness as well. This synchronous writing performance of the ViewBoard is further complemented with wireless content sharing which enables students to share their screens to the ViewBoard (and vice-versa) through the ViewBoard Cast app, which also enables teachers to do group activities through a 4-way split screen approach.

More so, the ViewBoard 50-3 hosts shared USB ports, including a SmartPort USB for both internal and external PCs. It also houses a 2.1 stereo sound with a built-in subwoofer, and a LAN RS232 port command. Along with a myViewBoard manager, the ViewBoard 50-3 also comes with an Intel-certified slot and a top-mounted 1080p web camera which can be attached separately.
