Lenovo has launched the P2 in India which was first showcased at the MWC 2016. The P2 follows the recent launches of the Phab 2, K6 Power and Yoga Book.
The device has had various improvements over the earlier P1 model. A marginally larger battery, SAMOLED display and 14nm processor all combine to provide a better battery life in comparison to its predecessor. Interestingly, the device can be used as a power-bank. A 24w charger is also provided in the package giving around 10 hours of battery life with just a 15 minute charge.
There is even a dedicated toggle on the side of the device to aggressively conserve battery for those situations where you’re low on battery and far away from a power point. The fingerprint sensor has been embedded in the front home button instead of resting on the rear of the device. The cameras are pretty basic and the speakers do not have Dolby Atmos like recent offerings from the company giving an indication that battery life is the USP of the device.
The 3GB RAM/32GB model is priced at Rs.16,999 while the 4GB RAM/32GB variant has a price of Rs.17,999. The device is sold online exclusively on Flipkart.
