Lenovo has expanded the Moto Z range with the reveal of the Moto Z Play. The mid-range device is a departure in terms of specifications from the high-end Moto Z and Z Force.
While Z Play looks similar to other Moto Z devices, it has a glass finishing instead of metal, although both the front and back glass panels encase a metal frame. Due to a similar build, it is also compatible with MotoMods accessories. Another interesting thing is the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack which was dumped unceremoniously by the other two models. Lenovo claims that the Z Play will be able to last up to 50 hours.
The device will have a global launch this month with the USA price revealed to be $408.
