Samsung Galaxy M51 comes with a monstrous 7000mAh battery

September 11, 2020 by T3 India

In exactly a week from now, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will be launched in India and apart from Samsung’s trustworthy image and reliability being the main appealing factors, this smartphone offers some fantastic features for everyone, especially those who end up spending a lot of their time on their phones.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is the newest addition to the long-running Galaxy M series. The M51 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G, a relatively superior 2.2GHz octa-core processor and known for its efficiency. The M51 also boasts of the Qualcomm Adreno 618 GPU that delivers up to 15% faster graphics rendering than a device powered by Snapdragon 730.

What really steals the headline is the battery. The Galaxy M51 features India’s first 7000mAh battery that enables users to make the most out of photography, videography, gaming and other features. A Type-C 25W fast charger can charge the smartphone fully in less than 2 hours. The M51 also has reverse charging through a Type-C to Type-C cable.

The M51 is equipped with a 6.7” sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O display and the smartphone offers an internal storage of 128GB which can be expanded to 512GB. The Galaxy M51 features a quad-cam setup in the rear with a 64MP main which utilises the superior Sony IMX 682 sensor, which is also great for capturing photographs in low light. A 12MP lens offers a 123-degree field of view, a 5MP macro lens is also an upgrade as compared to what many phones in this range offer, and so is the 5MP depth sensor.

The M51’s camera setup supports shooting 4K recording, hyperlapse, slow-mo and super-steady modes of capture. The 32MP front camera also supports 4K video recording and slow-mo selfies. A new ‘Single Take’ option utilises the AI-engine to record 10 seconds of footage and split that into 7 photos and 3 videos.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 will sell in two RAM variants: a 6GB and 8GB RAM which will cost Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 26,999 respectively. The M51 will be available in Celestial Black and Electric Blue colour variants and honestly, we think this phone is going to steal the show this year.
