Intex adds Aqua Ring to their budget series

Indian company Intex has launched Aqua Pride giving consumers another choice in the low price smartphone segment. The dual-SIM device supports standby on both slots although it does not support 4G connectivity. The front screen comes with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection.

The rear camera has basic photography features like autofocus, face beauty, gesture features, panorama mode etc. Intex has also introduced the Emergency Rescue Mode feature which works when the user presses the volume key for more than 3 seconds. It then sends a message that includes the location of the device holder to a pre-registered emergency contact.

Priced at Rs.4,999, Aqua Ring is selling exlusively on Amazon India.

Lenovo launches budget oriented Vibe K5

Lenovo released the Vibe K5, a pared down version of the Vibe K5 Plus today. Featuring dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos helps to minimize noise and voice distortion when playing audio files. The metal body with tapered edges makes the Vibe K5 both sturdy and comfortable to hold at the same time.

The smartphone is sold exclusively on Amazon India at a budget price of Rs. 6,999.

Indian startup Swipe releases the Elite Plus

Swipe Telecom has launched the Swipe Elite Plus aimed at the budget conscious consumers. The dual-sim device supports 4G and users will receive 100GB of cloud storage via the company’s own SwipeBox. The device features a display screen from Sharp with 78% screen-to-body ratio.

The Swipe Elite Plus will cost Rs. 6,999 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart from 6 June.
