Recently Intex launched three new smartphones in their Aqua series aiming at the sub 10k budget range. Dubbed the 4G Trilogy, the dual-SIM devices all support 4G and VoLTE technology.
The Intex Aqua 4.0 4G (Rs.4,199) features a 4″ WVGA AMOLED display and is running on a Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor with 512GB RAM. It has 4GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD. It sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing camera with VGA resolution. It runs on a 1500mAh battery and is available in 3 colours – Black, Blue and Champagne Gold.
The Aqua Crystal (Rs.6,990) comes with a 5″ HD IPS display and is powered by a Mediatek MT6737 quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. There is 8GB onboard storage expandable upto 128GB. It is equipped with an 8MP autofocus camera and a 5MP front focus camera. The device is powered by a 2100mAh battery and has special service apps included like LFTY, MiFon Security and Vistoso.
The Aqua Supreme (Rs.9,490) is equipped with a 5″ HD IPS oncell display and uses the same MT6737 processor present in the Aqua Crystal. It comes with 2GB RAM and there is 16GB internal storage available which can further be expanded upto 128GB. It houses a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with dual LED rear flash. Interestingly, it is the first smartphone with multilingual facility developed in association with Indus OS. The app provides upto 9 regional languages with mantra and word prediction.
