Huawei followed up their smartphone reveal with the Watch 2 (displayed on top) and Watch 2 Classic, the successors to their original smartwatch. Both devices have a separate look to appeal to different user demographics.
The Huawei Watch 2 has a plastic body with rubber straps featuring NFC with Android Pay support, LTE calling support and 2 physical buttons. The Classic makes use of a metal body and is essentially the same minus the no calling support. A hybrid strap with top leather finishing and rubber coated bottom protects it from sweat although both models come with IP68 certification.
The company clams 2 days of battery life and a special mode called ‘watch mode’ extends life upto 25 days. However, this mode disables all functions except for step count and clock.
