MSI has shown off their new lineup of gaming laptops for the Indian market. In addition to updating the GP, GL and PE lines, 3 models have been revealed – GS65 Stealth Thin, GE Raider RGB Edition, and GT75 Titan. The company has also announced the opening of 21 new service centres across India.
The GE Raider RGB was first announced at CES 2018 that attracted attention due to its design taking a page from sports cars. It features ultra-illumination with RGB lighting on the top cover, keyboard and USB ports. The top cover has 24 separate zones of RGB lighting with more than 16.8 million colours available. It is powered by the Intel core i7 8th generation processor, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 graphics, Cooler Boost 5 cooling solution from MSI and choices of 120Hz 3ms or 4K IPS-Level panel.
The GS65 Stealth Thin is the world’s first laptop having 144HZ/7ms IPS display with 4.9mm bezels that helps achieve an impressive 82% screen-to-body ratio. The Nvidia Max-Q design has kept the size thin and allowed for the weight to be a manageable 1.8Kg. It runs on Intel core i7 8th generation processor, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 graphics and has a 82Whr battery capable of providing over 8 hours battery life. The new RGB keyboard can be customised to receive real time status from games through the lighting changes.
The GT75 Titan is the first laptop to take a step further and provide Intel Core i9 processors with unlocked hexa-core performance. It has a rapid mechanical RGB keyboard and is the first laptop to introduce 10Gbps ethernet.
The GE Raider RGB Edition (Rs.1,64,990), GS65 Stealth Thin (Rs.1,69,990) and GT75 Titan (Rs.2,99,990 – i7/ Rs.3,49,990 – i9) will be available for purchase online from Flipkart, PayTm and other authorised resellers. The i9 model is an exclusive for the official MSI brick and mortar stores.
