World’s cheapest Indian made smartphone launches soon

Local Indian company based in Noida, Ringing Bells will be offering their smartphone – the Freedom 251 priced under Rs. 500.

Featuring a 4” qHD IPS screen, 1.3GHZ quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage expandable upto 32GB via microSD, 3.2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera with dual-sim 3G support and a 1,450mAh battery. Running on Android 5.1 OS, the specifications are reminiscent of early 2014 smartphones. It will be assembled entirely in India developed under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The company had recently launched 2 phones along with a 4G smartphone at Rs. 2,999. Bookings for the Freedom 251 start on 18 February,2016 from 6AM running upto 21 February, 2016 till 8PM.
