ASUS Introduces TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB Chassis

ASUS announced the TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB chassis, a case that makes it easy to build a high-performance PC with great cooling.

The TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB gives users a superb foundation for high-end cooling. This starts with a front panel designed first and foremost to maximize airflow efficiency. It is constructed of a wide-open, high-porosity square-type mesh that leaves ample room for fresh air to enter a PC. Four pre-installed 140 mm ARGB case fans move cool air through the chassis. These fans are exceptionally thick, measuring 28 mm in depth. These fans deliver up to 3 mmH2O static pressure and 115 CFM airflow for excellent cooling with quiet operation.

The TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB also has enough elbow room to install a large liquid-cooling radiator of up to 360 mm. The top panel is fully detachable, so it’s easy to install and clean the radiator. With the TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB, the options are wide open. Its two-way PCIe® mount can be used to install a graphics card in a horizontal orientation ― up to 407 mm long. That is long enough to handle even the mighty ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090. If a user opts for a vertical orientation, cards up to 125 mm thick can be installed.

 The GT302 ARGB can fit motherboards all the way up to extra-large E-ATX boards (up to 12 x 10.9 inches). Or, for users looking to install a large array of storage drives, the GT302 ARGB’s versatile storage drive brackets make it a breeze. With each of these brackets, users can install an HDD and an SSD at the same time, allowing for a mixture of two 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch HDDs using only two brackets.

The new ASUS ecosystem of Back-To-The-Future (BTF) PC components lets users easily build a PC that tucks the cables out of sight for a tidy look — made possible by new motherboards that hide their connectors on the back side rather than the front. For the most part, standard PC DIY components will work with a BTF motherboard, but users will need a compatible chassis. The TUF Gaming GT302 ARGB motherboard tray will work with standard motherboards, but it also includes the cutouts needed to access the connectors on a BTF motherboard.

Even if users are not getting the GT302 ARGB for a BTF build, the extensive cable management options will be appreciated. A roomy 37 mm of space is devoted to routing cables. The cable grommet bar is built with three large straps that make it easy to route two sets of cables. Additionally, three small clips on the rear side panel help to route the 8-pin cable for the CPU.

The GT302 ARGB is available in either black or white. The GT302 ARGB uses white cables for the case fans and front I/O so that users can enjoy a harmonious, unified look. With either color option, users will get flexibility with the looks of their PC thanks to the interchangeable side panels. One panel contains a tempered glass window, and the other contains mesh, and users can put them on whichever side of the chassis they wish.

ASUS GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua OC Edition Graphics Card to hit markets

ASUS announced the GeForce RTX™ 4080 SUPER Noctua OC Edition graphics card, designed for gamers and creators who seek cutting-edge performance that operates at whisper-quiet noise levels. Building on the class-leading design of the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3080, and RTX 4080 Noctua Edition variants, this premium graphics card achieves near-silent operation.

The ASUS GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua Edition incorporates a pair of Noctua’s state-of-the-art NF‑A12x25 fans to move air over an extra-large heatsink. These fans were developed in a partnership between the ASUS thermal R&D team and engineers at Noctua. The design involved tuning the fin density and heat pipe arrangement of the heatsink, optimizing each for the airflow characteristics of the NF-A12x25 fans. To prioritize low noise levels, a smooth acoustic signature and high cooling performance while making room for the pair of 120 mm fans, ASUS expanded the card’s total volume to occupy 4.3 slots of space. The card also comes with a Dual BIOS switch, with Quiet mode enabled by default to minimize acoustics right out of the box.

The NF-A12x25 fan was an easy choice for this project because of the numerous innovations packed into its 120 mm frame. The impeller in this fan is made of Noctua’s proprietary Sterrox® liquid-crystal polymer and has an exceptionally low thermal expansion coefficient, allowing the fan blades to sit just 0.5 mm away from the outer frame. This extremely tight tolerance allows the NF-A12x25 to work more efficiently against back pressure by reducing the leakage of airflow ― perfect for a densely-packed GPU fin stack. A metal-reinforced motor hub and axis further support this extremely precise gap between impeller and frame. 

Users who want to unleash the best that their new graphics card has to offer should take a look at the most recent version of the ASUS GPU Tweak III software. The latest features of this app make it a breeze to tune the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series of GPUs. The ASUS preset modes let users boost their card’s power or cut back on noise with a single click, and they can even set their own profiles on a game-by-game basis.

The Mobile Monitor  lets users connect to GPU Tweak via their phone or other remote device to monitor their graphics card, without adding overlays on top of their gameplay. ASUS Introduces BTF Motherboards and Graphics Cards

ASUS announced the ROG BTF and TUF Gaming BTF White ecosystems, each designed to hide cables so builders can achieve a clean and organized aesthetic with PCs built for a wide variety of scenarios. This innovation is realized through a PCIe® high-power connector on graphics cards compatible with the graphics card high-power slot on BTF motherboards.

BTF vs. Advanced BTF 

The ASUS ecosystem of BTF components gives users plenty of options as they are planning a hidden-connector build. With the combination of a BTF chassis and a BTF motherboard like the TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WiFi D4, users can tuck away all the cables that connect directly to the motherboard, including the cables that supply power to it, connect 2.5-inch SATA drives, connect case fans, and connect to front-panel buttons and I/O ports.

ASUS announced the ProArt PA602 chassis, which offers exceptional cooling right out of the box and is the first of many ProArt chassis to come.
