Asus refreshed its TUF Gaming notebook lineup in India by introducing the FX505 and FX705 along with a new desktop cabinet. The TUF series is a sub-brand that comes under Asus ROG (Republic of Gamers).
The FX505 has a 15.6″ LED FHD Anti-Glare IPS display with upto 144Hz refresh rate and 72% NTSC colour gamut. Hardware options include upto Intel Core i7-8750H processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 8GB GB RAM (expandable upto 32GB), Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050Ti or 1060, upto 1TB SATA HDD and 256GB of SATA 3.0 M.2 SSD. Asus FX705 features a 17.3″ LED FHD Anti-Glare IPS display with upto 144Hz refresh rate and 72% NTSC colour gamut. Coming to the hardware, it runs on an Intel Core i7-8750H processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 8GB DDR4 RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics with 6GB VRAM.
Both are MIL-STD-810G military grade build rated, have RGB backlit keyboard with Overstroke technology and DTS surround sound technology. Asus HyperCool Thermal technology with Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC), Fan OverBoost, dual-fan cooling CPU and GPU is also present.
The Asus TUF FX10CP desktop is fitted with an Intel Core i7 8700 processor, upto Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 graphics card and upto 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB 7200RPM HDD and 128GB M.2 SSD. A thermal design with isolated air chambers have been implemented in it for optimal heat dissipation.
Pricing starts from Rs.79,990 for the ASUS TUF FX505, Rs.1,24,990 for ASUS TUF FX705 and Rs.91,990 for TUF Desktop FX10CP. While the laptops will be available online and offline, the desktop can only be purchased from brick and mortar retail stores.
