Vietnam based Mobiistar has entered the Indian market with two smartphones that were unveiled in an event at New Delhi. The XQ Dual and CQ are part of the Selfie Star series from the company aiming to provide affordable selfie-focused handsets.
The XQ Dual runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and bears a 5.5″ FHD IPS display with Dragontrail 2.5D glass protection. On the rear is a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF). Coming to the front is a dual front camera setup having a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture taking advantage of screen flash to click snaps in low light.
The CQ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and sports a 5″ HD IPS display with 2.75D curved glass. Coming to the optics, there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, AutoFocus and LED flash on the rear and a 13MP sensor on the front.
Priced at Rs.7,999 for XQ Dual and Rs.4,999 for CQ, the models will go on sale in India via Flipkart from May 30. At launch, Flipkart is offering a guaranteed Rs.1,000 product off by exchanging any working old mobile handset and Complete Mobile Protection at a special price of Rs.99 instead of Rs.499.
