Acer announced the availability of new Predator monitors with the introduction of the 30″ Predator Z301CT and Predator XB2 Series. The Nvidia GSYNC technology supported Predator series is aimed at gamers who demand high performance hardware.
The 30″ Acer Predator Z301CT is an ultra-wide Full HD (2560×1080) curved monitor with 200Hz refresh rate, fast 4ms response time and wide 178 degree viewing angles.The display can tilt and swivel -5 degrees to 25 degrees reaching 4.7 inches (120mm) up and down for providing the most comfortable viewing position. Two 3w speakers with DTS sound are also embedded in the monitor. Integrated Tobii eye tracking technology helps gamers play supported games with the use of their eyes. Meant to complement rather than replace the traditional mouse+keyboard or gamepad, Tobii functionality is found in over 45 titles.
The Predator XB2 Series supports NVIDIA ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur) technology, 1ms response time, 240Hz refresh rate at Full HD 1080p resolution and sharp 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The display can tilt -5 degrees to 20 degrees tilt, 90 degrees clockwise pivot and height adjustment upto 4.5inches (115mm). It can also be quickly released from the VESA wall mounting for maximising desk space and a cable clip keeps it clutter-free. It also comes with 2w speakers and is available in sizes of 24.5″ and 27″ flat screens.
The monitors are outfitted with GameView technology which allows them to swiftly toggle between 3 customisable display profiles to tweak settings in-game without having to navigate the OSD menu. Acer Eyeprotect with flicker-less, bluelight filter, comfyview and low-dimming technologies help safeguard eyes from flickering, screen glare, blue light emissions and over-illumination which can also reduce eye strain. Powerful connectivity includes HDMI, DisplayPort v1.2 and a USB 3.0 hub (1 up/4 down).
