Japanese pen tablet manufacturer Wacom recently introduced the Bamboo Spark range in the Indian Market. The folio allows users to take handwritten notes to capture and share ideas. After something is written or drawn on the notepad, a push of the button synchronizes everything from it and digitizes it into the Wacom Cloud. After getting uploaded on the cloud, a user can edit or share it without restrictions.
The product allows users to write and sketch with Bamboo Spark’s traditional ink pen on most A5 sized paper. The Smart folio’s EMR (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) board which communicates with the Bamboo Spark pen, shares technology found on Wacom’s digital tablets.
The Bamboo Spark app (available on Android and iOS) is responsible for the digital capture and transfer. Wacom’s premium note taking app, Bamboo Paper further allows users to enhance their digital work due to WILL universal ink. WILL, short for Wacom Ink Layer Language offers handling of pen strokes regardless of software, hardware or operating system. Finally, Inkspace is a web portal allowing users to see and organize their content in one place. Files can be saved in WILL, jpg or pdf format. Syncronization with Evernote or Dropbox is also possible.
The Bamboo Spark range consists of 3 products:
1. Bamboo Spark with gadget pocket features a carrier for smartphone, pen, business cards and paper
2. Bamboo Spark with tablet sleeve made with neoprene provides room for a tablet and/or smartphone, pen and paper
3. Bamboo Spark with snap-fit for iPad Air 2 is specifically designed for the aforementioned product, pen and paper.
All 3 models of Bamboo Spark are priced at Rs. 10,975 and are available at Wacom India’s eStore, Amazon and other electronic retailers.
