Network peripheral manufacturer TP-Link recently launched the TL-WA820RE 300Mbps USB Wi-Fi Range Extender for the Indian market. It is meant to be a portable on-the-go that can be easily carried anywhere like a pen drive.
It is the first range extender from the company to be powered by a USB port which can be plugged into a power adapter, power strip, power bank or computer consuming 2.5w power. Supporting Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n standard at 2.4GHz, it supports upto 300Mbps. There are two external antennas inside the device to expand wireless range with an Intelligent Signal Light helping to determine the best location for optimal coverage.
The Tether App (available on iOS and Android) allows easy access and management of the network including functions like power schedule, access control, LED control and Wi-Fi Coverage Wireless Functions.
Available in white colour, the TL-WA820RE is available for sale exclusively on Amazon India.
