Smart Photography & T3 India — India’s premier imaging and gadget lifestyle focused magazines — hosted the Innovation, Technology & Imaging Awards 2017 on February 10, 2017. The event saw the who is who of the technology and imaging world getting together to cheer for the best products in the industry.
The 2017 edition of the annual event presented a total of 38 awards across technology and imaging segments. TV of the Year over Rs. 1,00,000 was awarded to Sony Bravia Z9D, while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge was adjudged the Flagship Smartphone of the Year. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza bagged the Domestic Car of the Year award. In the imaging section, Canon 5D Mark IV won the Smart Photography Camera of the Year award, while the Nikon D500 was adjudged the Best APS-C D-SLR of the Year. The award for the Best Full Frame D-SLR of the Year was shared between Canon 5D Mark IV and Pentax K1. A complete list of award winners across all categories is provided below.

The jury for T3 comprised of Francis D’sa (Technology Editor, The Deccan Chronicle), Amit Bhawani (Founder & Editor, PhoneRadar.com) and Pravin Dhake (Founder, Athlos) along with Kunal Gangar (Executive Editor, T3 India) and Girish Mallya (Publisher, T3 India and Smart Photography). The Smart Photography jury comprised of Amit Rane (Director and Masterclass Mentor, Outbound Expedition, DCP Expeditions), Prof. Jehangir Mistry (Dean, Xavier Institute of Communication, St.Xaviers College) and Arko Datta (Photojournalist and Founder of Udaan School of Photography) along with H S Billimoria (CEO, Next Gen Publishing and Editor, Smart Photography) and Rohinton Mehta (Technical Editor, Smart Photography) and Sujith Gopinath (Assistant Editor, Smart Photography).
