Acer has unveiled three Windows 10-based laptops meant to cater to a wide variety of users. Two are aiming at the light-weight segment while one is in a league of its own, owing to its size.
The Predator 21X stretches the definition of laptops with its 21-inch curved display and 8kg weight. Supporting Nvidia GSync, it has a custom resolution of 2560x1080p running on the 7th Generation Intel Core K series with support for up to 64GB RAM. The Predator is feature packed with a SoundPound2+ system providing audio output from four speakers and two subwoofers, Tobii eye tracking for supported games, a numeric keypad that can flip over to transform into a touchpad and a LED mechanical keyboard with CherryMX switches. Of course, such power requires five cooling fans to keep heating levels at bay.
The Spin 7 is a 14-inch two-in-one tablet with touch display sporting a 1080p display with Gorilla Glass Protection. It is encased in a full aluminium unibody for extra durability.
Swift 7 is reported by Acer to be extremely lightweight at 1.12kg with a thickness of just 0.99cm. It has a 13.3-inch 1080p IPS2 display with Gorilla Glass protection. Powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 2 USB 3.1 Type-C ports and a headphone jack. It has a thickness of 1.09cm and weighs 1.17kg.
