Kingston Technology Launches New IronKey & High-Performance Products

Kingston Technology today announced it will return to Las Vegas to showcase the latest offerings and upcoming products in 2023.This week, Kingston IronKey launched its first USB Type-C Vault Privacy 50C (IKVP50C) drive. Now, on any system users can protect their data against BadUSB and Brute Force attacks with the FIPS 197 Certified & XTS-AES 256-bit hardware-encrypted Vault Privacy 50 series.

The Multi-Password Option with Complex or Passphrase modes lets users choose a numeric PIN, sentence with space characters, or list of words so their password is easy to remember but harder for others to guess. Kingston launches new Canvas memory cards, MobileLite Plus Card Readers

Kingston has launched their first-ever UHS-II memory cards branded under the ‘Canvas’ range as the ‘Canvas Plus’ and new MobileLite Plus UHS-II card readers. This new portfolio of next-gen SD and microSD cards will deliver enhanced performances and speeds to DSLRs and other devices like smartphones, drones, and more; which are also capable of producing 4K/8K videos.

The ‘Canvas Plus’ portfolio consists of Canvas Select Plus, Canvas Go! Plus, and the Canvas React Plus – with storage capacities in the SD and microSD variants extending up to 512GB in the former two and up to 256GB in the latter.

The Canvas Select Plus offers Class 10 UHS-I speeds of up to 100MB/s and is designed for cameras capable of recording Full HD and 4K videos in particular.

Canvas Go! Plus, on the other hand, provides Class 10 UHS-I U3 speeds of up to 170MB/s read and 90MB/s write and is ideal for shooting4K UHD videos on drones and cameras. Prices range from Rs. 1,400 for the 64GB microSD card tp Rs. 16,500 for the 256GB SD Canvas Go! SD card.

The Canvas React Plus offers top-of-the-line UHS-II performance to capture professional-grade and high-resolution photos on industry-standard cameras’. You can now own an RGB SSD courtesy of Kingston

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, is the first company in India to launch AN SSD with RGB. HyperX Fury RGB SSD has been designed to deliver a solid gaming experience and look attractive at the same time.

The drives can reach upto 550MB/s read and upto 480MB/s write speeds. 3D TLC NAND technology and Marvell 88SS1074 controller have been used. The lightbar is compatible with RGB motherboards that can support RGB lighting and can also sync effects across internal system components. The 2.5″ drive has SATA Rev 3.0 (6Gb/s) with backwards compatibility to SATA Rev. 2.0 (3Gb/s). It can also be used in a gaming console to boost loading time that will vary for each individual game.

Available for sale in the HyperX network of retail and e-stores across the country, HyperX FURY RGB SSD is priced at Rs.9,349 for 240GB, Rs.15,330 for 480GB and Rs.27,230 for 960GB storage sizes. It is also available as upgrade bundle kits costing Rs.11,315 for 240GB, Rs.17,300 for 480GB and Rs.29,200 for 960GB capacities. The upgrade bundle kit includes a USB 3.0 enclosure, 3.5″ bracket with mounting screws, RGB cable, SATA data cable, USB 3.1 Type A to mini-USB Cable and Hard Drive Cloning Software. The SSDs come with a limited 3 year warranty and free technical support.

Kingston showcases new gaming hardware

Kingston has expanded its lineup of HyperX gaming gear with the introduction of a variety of peripherals. These include the Cloud Revolver headset, HyperX Alloy RGB Gaming Keyboard, the Pulsefire Gaming Mouse and 2 new Alloy FPS mechanical gaming keyboards with Cherry MX Red or Brown switch options.

The Cloud Revolver S offers plug-and-play Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound and introduces a new USB dongle that works on the push of a button.

Predator DDR4 LED Memory modules are the first from the company with RGB lighting capabilities that can be paired with motherboards having RGB control tech such as Asus Aura Sync, Gigabye RGB Fusion or MSI Mystic Light Sync.

The Pulsefire gaming mouse includes an optical sensor with 4 preset DPI settings having LED indicators (400/800/1600/3200). The settings can be changed without the need for installing software.

Featuring a completely new keyboard design with 16M LED colours and dedicated media keys, the HyperX Alloy RGB keyboard offers dynamic lighting profiles and controls. It allows gamers to customise and control the key colour settings.

The Alloy FPS mechanical gaming keyboard with the choice of Cherry MX Brown or Red switch has a full-sized steel alloy frame with a space saving layout. There are now two new switch options, textured red WASD keys and dynamic red LED lighting profiles which don’t need software to be installed for configuring it. The portable keyboard includes a removable cable and storage bag.
