Honor has announced the availability and release date of the Honor 20 series in the Indian market. The Honor 20 series includes 3 devices namely Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20 and Honor 20i. For now all of them are running on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1.
The top-end Honor 20 Pro sports a 6.26″ FHD+ display (1080×2340 pixels) powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor paired with 8GB RAM and upto 256GB onboard storage. The quad camera setup on the rear consists of a 48MP primary lens with f/1.4 and 0.5 inch sensor, 16MP super wide angle camera with f/2.2 and 117 degree angle lens, 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture for close macro shots. Other features include virtual 9.1 surround sound technology, dual microphones and a side mounted fingerprint sensor. It gets a 4000mAh battery with 22.5W Honor super charge support.
Next, the Honor 20 has a 6.26″ FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) All-View display with a hole-paunch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Similar to the Pro, it also runs on a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor but has to settle with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The front selfie camera has a 32MP sensor with f/2.0 lens and 3D Portrait Lighting support with AI modes like AI Camera, AI Color and AI Ultra Clarity. On the rear is a quad camera setup housing a 48MP primary lens with f/1.8, 16MP super wide angle camera with f/2.2 and 117 degree angle lens, 2MP depth assisting sensor with f/2.4 and a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 macro lens.
Finally, the Honor 20i uses a 6.21″ FHD+ display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Mali G51MP4 GPU is said to provide an enhanced gaming experience when GPU Turbo 2.0 is enabled. Moving over to the cameras, there is a rear triple camera setup comprising of a 24MP Primary lens with f/1.8, an 8MP ultra wide lens with f/2.4 and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens while the front bears a 32MP camera with f/2.0 lens and support for HDR, portrait mode and face unlock.
The company also showed off the Honor Pad 5 that will be available in two variants of 8″ and 10.1″ display sizes but gave no details on the price and sale date. The pricing for the Honor 20 series is Rs.39,999 for Honor 20 Pro, Rs. 32,999 for Honor 20 and Rs.14,999 for Honor 20i. Honor 20 Pro will be available in only Phantom Blue, Honor 20 in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue while Honor 20i will get Gradient Red, Gradient Blue, and Magic Night Black colours. Availability for Honor 20 Pro has not been mentioned but Honor 20 will be sold on Flipkart from 25 June and Honor 20i from 18 June.
