FUJIFILM Introduces smartphone printer link series

FUJIFILM unveil its one-of-a-kind smartphone printer Link series across the country. These smartphone printers are connecting the new-age generations to traditional ways of preserving memories. Moreover, you can easily personalize prints through its dedicated app Instax Biz in just one tap. When combined with Instax cameras and Instax smartphone printers, Instax Biz makes the printing experience seamless.

Mini-Link 2 is a sleek smartphone printer compatible with card-sized instax film available in three colours- pink, white, and blue. The instax mini-Link 2 offers endless creative possibilities such as sharable messages as a printable QR code and drawing with various brush types and colours.

With the SQUARE Link smartphone printer, you can print your images in just 90 seconds. Available in two colours White and Green, the smartphone printer is versatile in style, easy to carry around and comes with a rechargeable battery making it perfect for long shoots or vacations. It features advanced AR functions like ‘Add special FX and Add Doodle’ among others and the facility of super-imposed messages with INSTAX Connect.

The Link Wide smartphone printer is the ultimate option. This printer is capable of printing smartphone-clicked images on a wide format film (86mm x 108mm) which is twice the size of the regular card-size instax print. It allows users to take advantage of the series’ largest print size for printing smartphone images, be it a group shot or a landscape photograph.It is compact and lightweight to use and comes in two colours: White and  Gray.

 FUJIFILM  Introduces A3 multifunction printers

FUJIFILM announces the launch of A3 multifunction printers, Apeos series, for the first time in India. The printers are developed by FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. and sales will commence from 27 September 2023. 

  FUJIFILM India will be selling the A3 color multifunction printers, and Apeos C3060 / C2560 / C2060 and A3 monochrome multifunction printers, Apeos 3560 / 3060 / 2560, with a focus on productivity, reliability, and growing demands in the work environment. 

Equipped with standard capabilities such as single-pass duplex document feeder, searchable OCR (optical character recognition), and NFC (Near Field Communication as a short-range wireless technologies) printing, these printers aim to increase overall office efficiency across all industries from Enterprise, Corporate, SME to the Government.

FUJIFILM X-S20 Mirrorless Camera hits markets

FUJIFILM launches its mirrorless digital camera “FUJIFILM X-S20”, in India. The X-S20 features AI-based subject-detection AF and capability to record 6.2K/30P video. The camera can take approx. 800 frames and keeps operating for an extended duration of time, making it an ideal travel camera.

The X-S20 offers premium image quality and advanced portability, catering to a variety of shooting styles ranging from casual self-portraits to fully-fledged photography and videography.

The X-S20 is a mirrorless digital camera that is equipped with the back-illuminated 26.1MP sensor “X-Trans™ CMOS 4”  and the high-speed image processing engine “X-Processor 5” to produce high-quality images. It features X-S Series’ signature large grip for hand-holding stability. The use of the new high-capacity battery has more than doubled the number of frames by approx. 800 compared to that of the previous model. The compact and lightweight body, weighing just 491g makes it comfortable to use even in long-hour shootings. The camera also features the five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) mechanism that offers up to a 7.0-stop advantage. The AI-based subject-detection AF, capable of detecting animals and cars, adds to its AF performance, equivalent to the fifth-generation X Series camera, FUJIFILM X-T5, for added mobility.

“X-S20 is designed for Fujifilm creators and those new to telling their stories. The PASM Mode dial offers a familiar button layout to experienced users while providing fledgling users with an intuitive way to begin capturing their experiences. The X-S20 supports recording 6.2K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit video internally and features a 3.5mm microphone/earphone jack for connecting external accessories to conduct fully-fledged video recording. Furthermore, the new Vlog Mode makes it easy to produce a Vlog when the camera is combined with the tripod grip, TG-BT1.

Fujifilm X-S10 is a lightweight beast designed for serious enthusiasts

Fujifilm has introduced their latest mid-range addition in their flagship X-series range of mirrorless cameras, which is available with a variety of kit options. The newly-designed lightweight camera addresses the need of serious enthusiasts who are looking for much more portable options which offer a superior performance.

The X-S10 features a 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and a newly-developed in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) mechanism which is specifically designed for its compact body. The IBIS is approximately 30% smaller in volume and weight than the X-T4.

The X-S10 weighs only 450g and it delivers up to 6.0-stops of five-axis image stabilisation. The X-S10 is also the first of its kind – in the mid-range series – to employ the use of a motion sensor retention mechanism, which is a mechanical shock absorber for the shutter unit, thus ensuring the superior image quality. It also has a new cooling mechanism to enable longer recording times.

Through a large magnesium-alloy grip, the X-S10 enables users to get better stabilisation even when heavier lenses are mounted. The X-S10 achieves focus in as fast as 0.02 seconds in some cases, even in low-light conditions. Through the Face/Eye AD function, the X-S10 can deliver high-precision Tracking AF.

The X-S10 can achieve a high-speed burst shooting of 8fps through the mechanical shutter and 30fps through the electronic shutter. The LCD monitor is capable of rotating up to 180 degrees and is useful for vloggers. The viewfinder’s Live View function has three boost modes available: Low Light Priority, Resolution Priority model, and Frame Rate Priority.

The X-S10 supports the recording of 4K/30p 8-bit videos on the SD card and can output a 4K/30p 10-bit video via the HDMI port. It can also record full-HD videos at 240p.

The Fujifilm X-S10 (body only) is available for a price of Rs. 99,999. It also comes with various kit lenses: Fujinon XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 (Rs. 1,34,999), the Fujinon XF16-80mm F4 (Rs. 1,49,999).

Fujifilm reveals the almighty X-T4, with a 26.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor

With the success and prowess of the X-T3 in the world of mirrorless and digital cameras, the X-T4, now, has some big shoes to fill. Fujifilm’s latest iteration in their flagship ‘X’ series range, offers a familiar but slightly enhanced experience while shooting stills but has made major upgrades for those interested in creating videos.

Before we sink into the details, the Fujifilm X-T4’s body alone is priced at Rs. 1,54, 999. The body along with a high-quality Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens is priced at Rs. 1,84,999 and the body with a XF 16-80mm f/4 is priced at Rs. 1,99,999 (with freebies worth Rs. 18,500)

The X-T4 is equipped with a APS-C ‘X-Trans’ CMOS 4 sensor with an effective pixel count of 26.1MP, which is similar to its predecessor, the X-T3. The sensor can capture up to 10-bit with a 4:2:0 colour space internally at a bitrate of up to 400 Mbps. As mentioned earlier, the X-T4 does share many features with the X-T3 but one of the key changes is that Fujifilm have excluded the headphone jack in the X-T4 but have added the impressive in-body image stabilisation (IBIS).  It also has a deeper-cut in the grip, as compared to the X-T3, and thus, that would only enable a better grip.

The X-T4 is one the first models in its series to feature an IBIS, which provided a 5-axis 6.5 stop image stabilization. Fujifilm claims that the X-T4’s IBIS is around 30% smaller and 20% lighter than X-H1’s IBIS unit.

When it comes to the shutter unit, the X-T4’s new ‘ultra-fast’ focal plane shutter can shoot up to 15fps in burst mode (with the mechanical shutter!) and has a shutter life of 300,000 actuations – which is almost double the actuations of previous models –  and is 30% quieter than the already-quiet X-T3. The X-T4 also features the latest NP-W235 battery whose capacity is 1.5 times larger than that of the NP-W126S battery of the X-T3 and other models.

The innovations in the X-T4 has enhanced the phase detection auto-focus to performance speeds as fast as 0.02 seconds with 425 phase detection points. The X-T4 can also shoot at 8fps in live view. The X-T4 also possesses superior Face/Eye AF performance. Fujifilm also claimed that the tracking autofocus performance has significantly improved, with a tracking success rate nearly doubled as compared to the X-T3.

The X-T4 comes with a range of professional video functions. It can record DCI 4K videos at 60P and Full HD videos at 240P, thus enabling users to produce a slow-motion effect of up to 10x of real time.

Besides the advanced capabilities of the sensor and processor, let’s not forget that Fujifilm’s cameras are also revered due to their physical design with retro dials and analogue chic in the outside. The X-T4 features a large, bright 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder that can be pushed to a 100fps refresh rate for smooth display. It also hosts a 3” 1.62m-dot touchscreen that can rotate through its multi-angle design, thus, aiding shooting from high, low or front-facing angles.

The X-T4 also houses several Film Simulation modes, which give variable options for photographers to select the look and feel of some of Fujifilm’s classic film choices.

Undoubtedly, the X-T4 is a powerful camera but with many similarities with the X-T3. The video features have been thoroughly upgraded and the X-T4 is, possibly, one of the best mirrorless cameras and multimedia tools out there and it’ll be available in its traditional black and silver colour variants.
