Nike India showcased its new season collection last weekend at Tote on the Turf, Mumbai. the event saw the sportswear-manufacturing giant launch the latest range of the flagship Flyknit series, in addition to a new performance running and training garment range.
The flagship Flyknit range has three options – Free Run motion Flyknit – Rs 14,995, Free Run Flyknit – Rs 11,995 and the Free Run – Rs 8,995. This range has a minimalist bottom (sole) design with a snug upper fit.
Nike also previewed its new Nike app, Nike+ Running; it now hopes to drive the Nike Club offline initiative through the app. Plans are to start off with running clubs in Colaba and Bandra. As a part of this initiative, Nike will provide pacers (for beginners and advance runners) and a running coach twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) at these locations for local Mumbai runners. Runners can join this informal running club free of charge.
