Tenda has released the new AC9 Smart Dual-Band Gigabit WiFi router for the Indian market. The 1200Mbps router will primarily be available with Hathway broadband, selected ISPs and some other retailers across the country.
The dual band delivers upto 867Mbps at 5GHz and 300Mbps at 2.4GHz concurrently at 802.11ac standard. The router has been built from the ground up to ensure there are no signal drops or transfers lagging irrespective of location placement. This is all thanks to Beamforming+ technology and external 3dbi antennas. It has Smart Wi-Fi schedule function automatically switching on or off WiFi to reduce power consumption and offers additional value added functionality like VPN, IPTV, WPS, DDNS, UPnP, Bandwidth Control, Firewall, DMZ, Tenda Cloud, virtual server, Smart LED and Parental control. These can also be easily accessed via the Tenda App. Tenda AC9 is priced approximately between Rs.3,600 to Rs.4,000.
