ASICS SportStyle and C.P. Company announce the second chapter of their footwear collaboration with the new GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I. Following the success of the first launch in January 2024, the project evolves by reinforcing the dialogue between functionality and urban attitude, combining Japanese technological innovation with Italian design expertise.
Rooted in ASICS’ “Sound Mind, Sound Body” philosophy and C.P. Company’s established research in textile innovation and functional design, the collaboration brings together two complementary design approaches.
The concept of “Architecture in Motion” underpinning the project interprets the contemporary city as a dynamic environment where structure and movement coexist. Performance and aesthetics become integral parts of a unified system that reflects the way the body moves through and interacts with the urban landscape.
Available in three colourways, the GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I translates this principle into a silhouette where architecture and dynamism are made visible. The double-layer technical jacquard mesh upper enhances breathability while adding depth to the form. Originally introduced in 2015, the GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I was the first ASICS sneaker to feature 360° GEL™ technology in the midsole, an element that defines both its performance and visual identity.
Co-branding details complete the design: the C.P. Company Metropolis Series logo, the Italian brand’s collection dedicated to high-performance materials and an urban-driven design language, is positioned on the toe, while the ASICS spiral logo appears on the heel. The external TPU reinforcement, combined with TRUSSTIC™ technology, ensures stability during everyday movement, while FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning and GEL™ technology provide lightweight responsiveness and long-lasting comfort. Designed to move with the rhythm of the city, the silhouette merges ASICS’ running heritage with C.P. Company’s urban sensibility.
To celebrate the collaboration around the theme “Architecture in Motion,” ASICS and C.P. Company invited selected members of their community to the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, a symbol of dialogue and international cooperation, rarely accessible to the public. In this setting, a breathwork session led by Bruno Sitton explored the relationship between body, space and movement, core elements of the project.
