Originally revealed at CES 2019, Danish audio equipment maker Jabra has released the Elite 85h wireless headphones for the Indian market. This is the most expensive product in their consumer headset lineup till date that will be competing with the likes of Bose QC35 II and Sony WH-1000XM3.
The main highlight of Elite 85h is SmartSound technology that can automatically adapt sound and do Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) based on the surroundings of the wearer. Besides Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, they can also be connected via a 3.5mm jack. The headphones can be charged through the USB Type-C port and a full charge gives 36 hours with ANC on and 41 with it turned off. An impressive standby time of 1 year is touted by the company. Downloading the Sound+ app available on iOS and Android allow users to fine tune the settings based on their preferences.
Interestingly, they power on when twisted inwards and automatically switch off when the ear cups are set in a flat position for packing. Jabra is giving 2 years of warranty for Elite 85h that comes with IP52 rating. Coming with 40mm drivers, there are 8 microphones out of which 6 are dedicated towards voice calls, 4 for ANC and 2 are hybrid microphones for both ANC and calls.
Priced at Rs.28,990, the headphones will go on sale from 25 May at Amazon Croma and other partner stores. They will be available in Black, Titanium Black, Gold Beige, and Navy colour variants.
