Taiwanese imaging equipment maker BenQ has released the SW320 professional monitor for the Indian market today.The 31.5″ 4K display comes with HDR capability covering 99% of Adobe RGB, 100% of sRGB, Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 colour space. It uses a true 10-bit IPS panel and a 14-bit lookup table (LUT) to deliver colour quality with exact ≤2 Delta E values. HDR signals are output through its HDMI and DisplayPort input ports.
It can be hardware calibrated with a colorimeter and Palette Master Element calibration software. GamutDuo Mode enables simultaneous side-by-side content display in 2 different colour spaces like Adobe RGB and sRGB. Photographs can also be viewed in a black and white film effect with 3 presets for photo previews before any post processing adjustments are done.
The bundled Hotkey Puck remote control lets users instantly switch between colour modes and image settings. The detachable shading hood works in both portrait and landscape orientation thereby blocking ambient light and glare with an adjustable stand design helping find the most suitable viewing angle. Coming to connectivity, the SW320 includes a media card reader, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.0a and a DisplayPort/miniDisplayport 1.4 for Mac Thunderbolt.
The BenQ SW320 is sold at a price of Rs.1,25,000 across the country.
