At an event in Mumbai, Vivo unveiled its latest selfie-centric phone, the V5. The phone’s claim to fame is its 20MP front-facing camera which can take high-resolution selfies and features the ‘Moonlight Glow’ for better low-light selfies. This is incidentally, nothing but front-facing flash, though to give credit where it’s due, it isn’t as hard as a regular flash.
As far as other features are concerned, the phone is powered by a Mediatek octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and comes with a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. Additionally, a 13MP camera takes care of regular photography and features 5.5-inch HD display, fingerprint sensor, Smart Screen-Split and integrates a Hi-Fi audio chip.
The phone will go on sale from November 26 for Rs 17,980.
