LG will be debuting their latest X series phones at the Mobile World Congress on February 22. Consisting of 2 models – the X cam and X screen, both will be catering to different demographics running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The X cam features a 5.2” display powered by a 1.14GHZ Octa-Core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Owing to the 3D Bending glass, the profile of the device is reduced to around 5.2mm to 6.9mm. The phone has two 13MP and 5MP rear units as well as a 8MP front camera. With the 2,520mAh battery, the phone weighs 118gm and will be available in Titan Silver, White, Gold and Pink Gold colours.
The X screen houses a 4.93” display alongwith a 1.76” (520x80p) “Always On” secondary display running on a 1.2GHZ Quad-Core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The Second Screen lets users check time, date, battery status and other notifications without turning on the phone. The X screen has a 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera. It packs a 2,300mAh battery and weighs 135gm. It will be available in 3 variants – Black, White and Pink Gold.
No word on the exact cost other than LG will be pricing the mobiles competitively. The LG X series will makes its way to India next month.
