Seagate’s FireCuda 530 is a high speed PC gaming SSD

Seagate has announced the launch of its newest PC gaming SSD, the FireCuda 530. This SSD delivers high speed and delivers the fastest performance from Seagate’s PC gaming storage portfolio.

The Seagate FireCuda 530 offers the latest PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD technology which delivers sequential read speeds of up to 7300 MB/s, and transfer rates up to two times faster than the PCIe Gen3 SSDs and 12 times faster than SATA-based SSDs. This is a commendable feat of the device. Additionally, the drive is built with a Seagate-validated E18 controller along with the latest 3D TLC NAND to deliver high speed and durability for PC gaming loads. The minimalistic heatsink option, which is specially designed by EKWB, utilises a high-grade aluminium block with a finely textured finish, instead of cooling fins, in order to maximise cooling.  

The FireCuda 530 can write and delete 70% of the drive’s storage capacity ‘every day for 5 years’ through its 1.8M MTBF and offering up to 5100 TBW. Seagate launches One Touch SSD – a high-capacity portable storage solution
