After the reveal in London, HMD global unveiled the Nokia 8 for the Indian market at an event in the capital. The device is the company’s first flagship grade product after their budget to mid-range 3,5 and 6.
The highlight of the Nokia 8 is the camera setup that has been co-engineered with Zeiss. The rear dual cameras are comprised of dedicated RGB and monochrome sensors further boosted by laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. The selfie camera is the same as the RGB sensor on the rear. The company has added extra features to take full advantage of their optics.
Dubbed ‘bothie’, this dual sight mode captures with both the cameras so even the reaction of the person behind can be seen. Sound capture is enhanced with NOkia OZO spatial 360 degree audio.
Priced at Rs.36,999, Nokia 8 will be available exclusively online on Amazon and offline at various stores from 14 October.
