The Division 2 is taking back players back to New York through a long and twisted narrative. On March 3, Ubisoft plan to launch The Division 2 Warlords of New York, which is a narrative-driven expansion which makes players encounter a deadly plot within the grid-like streets and structures of Lower Manhattan. In preparation for Warlords of New York, players can keep up the pace with immersing in Episode 3- Coney Island: The Hunt, which is set to launch for all Division 2 players for free on February 19, 2020.
Featuring a new open-world map, the plot makes players track down the rogue Division agent Aaron Keener – who disappeared in the first game and has reappeared along with taking in other rouge agents in his united faction – who is determined to build a new bioweapon. But in order to take him on, players need to find, track down and defeat Keener’s four dangerous lieutenants, each of which are also rogue Division Agents. The battle for New York unfolds across five main campaign missions (four of which can be played in any order).
Players can keep improving their Agents throughout the game as the infinite SHD Level Progression System allows players to keep earning perks along the campaign. It’s also fun to unlock four new skills, namely – a decoy, a trip-wire trap, an incendiary sticky bomb launcher and an explosive sticky bomb launcher. There are also new branded sets, weapons and new armour up for grabs.
Featuring four new battle zones in New York to explore, each of which is destroyed through a hurricane, these zones are open to Agents who’ve reached level 30 and World Tier 5. If your agent isn’t there and you still want to gain access to these new zones, you can do so by pre-purchasing the expansion.
Exciting times are up ahead for Division fans as the Warlords of New York also introduces several key gameplay enhancements through community feedback.
