Noise introduces a budget smart band

Domestic company Noise recently launched the entry-level Trace SmartBand for users on a tight budget.

Featuring basic functions such as a pedometer, sleep monitoring, message alerts, call notifications and alarm clock viewable on an OLED display. The pedometer includes distance calculation, step count and calorie count. It also does real-time monitoring of sleep including time, quality and depth.

Trace is available in two colour variants: black and blue, at a price of Rs 1,599.

For a limited period, it is being sold at an introductory price of 1,299.

Crusaders launches Air Purifier XJ-3100

Domestic air-purification-filter company Crusaders Technology, recently introduced the latest addition to their line-up with the XJ-3100.

The lightweight air purifier is suitable for rooms having a size up to 425 square feet, employing a six-stage purification process. The process includes Pre Filter Mesh, HEPA Filter, CARBON Filter, TiO2 Photo-Catalyst filter, UV Tube and Ionizers.

Samsung debuts its T3 SSD in India

Samsung recently launched the T3 SSD range in India, the result of an extreme makeover to its predecessor, the T1, which will be gradually phased out soon.

The T3 has a reported reading and writing speed of 450MB/s using the USB 3.0 interface. Physically, the internal frame safeguards against shocks and drops of up to 2 metres while data is protected using AES-256bit encryption on a hardware level.

The T3 is available in 4 variants:-
250GB – Rs 10,999
500GB – Rs 18,999
1TB – Rs 37,999
2TB – Rs 74,999

The SSD comes with a three-year warranty and will be sold from 21 March at retail stores as well as major online stores like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal.

Mi5 coming to India in April 2016

At the launch of the Redmi Note 3 event, Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra announced that the Mi5 will be sold next month in India, although no date was given. The smartphone garnered over 1.5 crore registrations within a couple of days in China.

The company also confirmed their Bluetooth speakers will be sold in the last week of March, around Holi signifying the large range of available colours. Featuring a 1,500mAh battery and eight-hour playback, the aluminium body speakers will be sold for Rs 1,999.

A 20,000mAh power bank will also be making its way into the Indian market soon.

MWC 16: Samsung Gear 360 showcased

Samsung revealed the existence of the Gear 360, a 30MP twin lens camera at the MWC 16 joining the likes of LG with their own 360 camera.

Featuring a water and dust resistant body, the camera includes a standard tripod mount on the bottom with a handgrip plus a removable and chargeable battery making it highly portable. The bundled PC software helps with advanced and in-depth video editing.
