Kingston has an exclusive gaming headset for Gears of War fans

HyperX, a Kingston division has launched an exclusive gaming headset for Gears of War 4 gamers. The CloudX Revolver Gears of War is an officially licensed Xbox headset that is co-designed by Microsoft and The Coalition (makers of Gears of War 4) and features a battle-weathered design to match Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2TB Bundle and Xbox One Gears of War 4 Crimson Omen Limited Edition Wireless Controller. Ironically, both are unavailable from Microsoft in India yet.

Kingston says the headset is ideal for FPS games, thanks to its studio-grade sound stage. It comes with a genuine leather headband and foam for comfort, noise-cancellation microphone and support for Windows PC. The headset also comes with in-line audio control to adjust the volume and mute the microphone right from the cable.

The HyperX Cloud Revolver Gears of War is backed by a two-year warranty and retails for Rs. 9,698 on Amazon India.

iRobot Roomba 980 arrives in India

After being available abroad since the end of last year, Puresight Systems has finally brought the high-end iRobot Roomba 980 vacuuming robot in India. In an exclusive partnership with Puresight Systems, iRobot initially introduced the Roomba 600, 700 and 800 vacuuming robots along with the Brava 300 series floor mopping robot to the market.

The new Roomba 980 combines adaptive navigation with visual localisation to clean an entire level of a particular area, recharging and resuming when needed until the job is done. Using the iRobot HOME app, users can control the Roomba 980 from anywhere. The device is smart enough to detect different floor surfaces and optimize its cleaning power based on the type of floor it is currently cleaning. The company claims its Aeroforce Cleaning System with Carpet Boost provides twice the cleaning power by automatically increasing the performance of the 3rd Generation motor on carpet and rugs.

There are two iRobot experience centers and a service center in Bangalore. The company is looking to expand to other major cities within the next 12-24 months. The Roomba 980 is sold at Rs.69,999 and is available directly from their website.
