Headphone Zone, today announced the launch of the Headphone Zone X Juzear Defiant, a co-branded in-ear monitor that the company’s product specialists have unanimously endorsed as the best IEM under Rs. 10,000 in their catalog.
The Defiant features a hybrid driver configuration with one 10mm dynamic driver and three balanced armature drivers, tuned over six iterations to achieve what Headphone Zone describes as “balanced without being boring, engaging without being coloured.”
“If you’re spending under ten thousand on an IEM, this is the one. Our whole team agrees, and that’s rare,” said Raghav Somani, Founder and CEO of Headphone Zone. “We’ve compared it against everything in this price range. The Defiant holds its own and then some.”
The IEM launches in two variants. The Audiophile Edition (Rs. 8,999) includes interchangeable 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced terminations for use with dedicated audio sources. The Everyday Edition (Rs. 9,999) adds an inline microphone and a USB Type-C termination with built-in DAC for direct smartphone connectivity.
Both variants include the FLARE hybrid cable with 280 strands of 6N single crystal copper and silver-plated copper, a premium leatherette carry case, and multiple eartip options.
The Headphone Zone X Juzear Defiant is available now at headphonezone.in and at the Headphone Zone Experience Studio in Mumbai.

Everything You Need To Know About the Headphone Zone x Juzear Defiant:
- A Balanced Tuning That Actually Means Something
The Defiant’s sound won’t split opinion. It’s warm enough to feel musical, detailed enough to reveal things you’ve missed before, and tuned to hold both qualities without trading one for the other. Six rounds of refinement went into getting it there. Our Gurus describe the result simply: not too much of anything, not too little. Just right. - Four Drivers, One Coherent Sound
Most hybrids at this price feel like their drivers are having an argument. The Defiant doesn’t. The 10mm dynamic driver handles bass with real weight and texture. A custom composite balanced armature covers the mids with body and clarity. A dedicated high-frequency balanced armature adds sparkle without sharpness. Each driver has a job, and together they produce something cohesive. - Audiophile-Grade Internals You Wouldn’t Expect at Rs. 8,999
The crossover is a gold-plated PCB circuit with high-tolerance components, built for clean frequency separation between all four drivers. The dynamic driver uses a carbon-PU diaphragm, neodymium magnet, and large voice coil for controlled, impactful bass. These are design choices that typically appear in gear costing two or three times as much. - Why Headphone Zone Put Its Name on This
At Headphone Zone, the logo on a product means the team has listened to it, compared it against the competition, and chosen to stand behind it. The Defiant went up against the Truthear Hexa, the Simgot Supermix 4, and IEMs priced higher. It held its own and then some. Our Gurus now have one answer when someone asks what to buy under ten thousand. - An IEM That Disappears into Your Ears
The shells are crafted from medical-grade resin using high-precision DLP 3D printing, built around the natural contour of the ear. A triple-path fully damped acoustic duct system reduces distortion, widens the soundstage, and improves imaging. The micro-perforation pressure balance system keeps the fit comfortable through long listening sessions without pressure buildup. - Built to Look Like It Costs More Than It Does
CNC-milled faceplates with nickel metal accents catch the light cleanly. The transparent resin shells show the internals. The FLARE hybrid cable uses 280 strands of 6N single crystal copper and silver-plated copper. It arrives looking like something you’d be proud to pull out of a case. - Two Editions for Two Kinds of Listening
The Audiophile Edition comes with interchangeable 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced plugs for use with dedicated audio sources. The Everyday Edition adds a built-in DAC in the cable and a Type-C termination for direct smartphone connection, with an inline microphone for calls. Both editions include the same FLARE cable, premium leatherette carry case, and multiple eartip options. - Your First Real IEM, or a Serious Daily Driver
Someone stepping into the hobby for the first time will find nothing intimidating here. Someone already deep into it will find nothing lacking. The Defiant sits in the rare spot where it genuinely works for both, without making either feel like a compromise was made.
