Mi expands their wearable portfolio with the new Mi Watch Revolve Active

The lightweight Mi Watch Revolve Active comes packed with several health and fitness features to help users refine their fitness journeys in a smart and connected manner.

The Mi Watch Revolve Active features a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen delivering a resolution of 454×454 and a maximum brightness of 450 nits. The screen is protected through Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with DLC coating which also ensures optimal clarity and bright visuals. Additionally, the ‘Smart Always-On Display’ feature enables users to view time without touching, and turns the display off automatically when the smartwatch isn’t worn.

Weighing just 32g, the Mi Watch Revolve Active comes with some advanced health features working with the integrated ‘LifeQ Health’ algorithm which can track over 30 data points which are some key indicators of one’s health. They include:

  • Blood Oxygen Saturation: through a reflective-light based sensor.
  • VO2 Max: detailing ‘how much oxygen one’s body is able to utilize during maximum activity’
  • Sleep tracking
  • Continuous heart-rate tracking: Which also automatically saves the users resting heart rate curve of the past 30 days

The Mi Watch Revolve Active is also armed with over 117 workout modes, including 17 professional sports modes which features triathlons, swimming, HIIT, boxing, Yoga, and more. The smartwatch is also equipped with a 12nm high-end Airoha GPS chip which supports synchronous positioning through four major positioning systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS.

The smartwatch is also resistant to water up to a depth of 50 meters. It is also equipped with regular but important features like alarm, timer, stopwatch, weather, find my phone, flashlight and helps users manage their calls and notifications.

The Mi Watch Revolve Active features a 420mAh battery and is also compatible with Strava and Apple Health – the latter for iOS users only. The ‘long-battery’ mode enables the watch to last for 22 days on a single charge.

Along with a minimalist design, the Mi Watch Revolve Active comes with six interchangeable strap options (Olive green, leather black, maroon, beige, black, and blue) and in three different variants: Black, Blue, and Beige. Timex launches the new iConnect Smartwatch for everyday wear

Huami Amazfit T-Rex is a robust smartwatch for health and wellness enthusiasts

The rugged and robust Huami Amazfit T-Rex is now available in India and it’s price tag doesn’t put a big dent in one’s account as well. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the T-Rex is compatible with iOS and Android and the smartwatch has a 1.3” AMOLED display offering a 360×360 resolution capable of displaying 16.7 million colours.

The display is also armed with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and an anti-fingerprint coating. Passing the 12 regulations of military standard quality tests – MIL-STD-810 – does give some assurance on the T-Rex’s durability and robustness. Garmin’s new ‘Vivomove Series’ watches merges the classic analog look with trendy smartwatch features

Garmin have announced the launch of their latest hybrid collection of smartwatches – the ‘Vivomove series’ – with stylish new designs that give off a traditional classic vibe while providing a series of futuristic features catering to the user’s all-round health and wellness and much more.

The Vivomove series watches have the appearance of a traditional analog watch and a classically-polished dial. These watches also come with a hidden smart screen and come with a range of unique features as well. Equipped with 24/7 health monitoring abilities, the Vivomove watches can track the quality of sleep with the Pulse Ox1 tech, menstrual cycles, abnormal heart-rate alerts, stress levels, as well as breathing.
